Cookie Policy

Because there is nothing to consent to. This site sets no advertising cookies, no tracking cookies and no third-party cookies. The only cookies it uses are strictly necessary ones, which under PECR do not require consent — and there are two of them.
Visitor numbers are measured without any identifier stored on your device. Instead, a one-way hash of your IP address and browser is combined with a secret that changes daily. It tells us how many people visited today and how many of them had been before; it cannot follow you between days, and it cannot be reversed. The full detail is in the privacy policy.

Embedded video
Videos are embedded from youtube-nocookie.com, which does not set cookies until you press play. If you do, YouTube sets its own and its policy applies from that point.
If this changes
If Google Analytics is ever switched on, a consent banner will appear before it loads and this page will be updated to list what it sets. We will not quietly add tracking behind an unchanged policy.
Controlling cookies
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Blocking the two above will stop the shopping bag remembering its contents and will stop administrators being able to sign in; nothing else will break.
